Important Details
IMPORTANT DETAILS
Submission deadline: 15/09/2026
- Presenting authors who are currently affiliated with an institute in North East India, or who are presenting research carried out at an institute in North East India (even if their current affiliation is outside North East India), must hold valid NERC-IAPM membership. Those who are not yet members but wish to present are encouraged to obtain membership at the earliest. For presenting authors whose current institutional affiliation/designation is outside North East India and whose research was also conducted outside North East India, NERC-IAPM membership is desirable but not mandatory.
- Completion of registration for NERCON 2026 is a prerequisite for abstract submission.
- Each member is eligible for a single presentation only—either oral or poster.
- Submissions must represent original, unpublished research work.
- The final date for abstract submission is 15 September 2026.
- A select group of up to seven abstracts will be featured under the prestigious Best Paper Presentation category. Other high-quality submissions will be allocated to free oral or poster sessions by the review committee. While there is no age restriction for submission, eligibility for the Best Paper Presentation requires the presenting author to be below 35 years of age as on 31 December 2026.
Awards & Recognitions
Prizes for Best Paper Presentation
- 1 prize — Anatomic Pathology and Histopathology
- 1 prize — Haematopathology, Clinical Pathology, Blood Bank and others
- 1 prize — Cytopathology
Prizes for Best Poster Presentation
- Two prizes — 1st and 2nd, irrespective of group
- All presenters will be honored with a Certificate of Presentation.
- Decision of the Review Committee shall be final and binding.
How to Submit Abstract?
HOW TO SUBMIT ABSTRACT?
- Abstract for oral paper/poster presentation must be e-mailed to abstractnercon2026@gmail.com
- Any other mode of submission is not acceptable.
- Abstract must be submitted only in *.pdf format. The PDF file should be named as ‘Oral/Poster (as applicable)- Delegate ID’
- Example: ‘Oral- ID no.67890’ or ‘Poster- ID no. 12345’
- EMAIL SUBJECT: The email subject should be mentioned as ‘Abstract for Oral/Poster (as applicable)- Name of presenting author’. Email subject of abstract from presenting author Dr Abc Xyz for oral paper shall be ‘Abstract for Oral- Dr Abc Xyz’, Email subject of abstract from presenting author Dr Def Uvw for poster shall be ‘Abstract for Poster- Dr Def Uvw’
